Flee from sin

For the past few days I've been facing temptations and trials of things that are not righteous in God's eyes, so because of this I went online and i found some good verses that helped me overcome this, and they might help you too.

Sins to flee from  

  1 Corinthians 6:18 - "Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body." 

1 Corinthians 10:14 - "Therefore, my dear friends, flee from idolatry."

1 Timothy 6:10-11 - "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness.

It's your choice: Heaven or hell ??

Temptation and the remedy

James 1:14 - But each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed.

1 Corinthians 10:13 - No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.

Hebrews 4:15-16 - For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
