Hello, so I ordered two books online and I got them on Thursday...so here they are:

Joyfully at home: A Book for Young Ladies on Vision and Hope  By: Jasmine Baucham

I recommend this Book for young ladies on vision and hope and for anyone out there thinking of becoming stay-at-home-daughter.

SUMMARY: In Joyfully at home, Jasmine writes with verve, passion, and transparency about her own struggles and triumphs as a young woman, even as she encourages other girls on this journey to grasp the bigger picture- to embrace a vision for the home as a hub of ministry and discipleship, as a training ground for life ahead, and as a place where they can bless their families. With humor, humility, and heart, Jasmine tackles the tough questions and " what ifs" girls face, offering practical counsel on how to overcome a false view of marriage, husbands, and singleness. Jasmine paints a beautiful picture of how young ladies can become good daughters to their fathers and mothers, good sisters to their siblings, and gain vibrant confidence, godly contentment, and purposeful joy in their ministry in and from the home.

My favorite quote from the book: "Whatever my state, I need to be able to honestly pray, "Thy will be done." And if his will is that i remain single, the last thing i want to do is forge habits of discontentment so early on in my life! And even if his will is that i get married someday, i want to spend these single years in a joyous pursuit of him, not matrimony. Score: 5/5

Growing up Duggar

It's All About Relationships!

In this delightful and very personal book, the four oldest Duggar girls share their hearts and their core beliefs, explaining that it's all about relationships!

Relationship with self: The girls share their own personal journeys to self-acceptance and navigating the difficult stage of adolescence.

Relationship with parents: You'll find revelations about how Jim Bob and Michelle keep the lines of communication open with their children.

Relationships with siblings: Here, you'll get a peek into the Buddy system, how the siblings handle conflict, and how the loss of little Jubilee (their sister) affected their relationships with each other.

Relationships with friends: You'll find principles on how the Duggar kids deal with peer pressure and how they interact with friends outside their family.

Relationships with boys: You'll learn the Duggar view of dating and courtship, and these four sisters will address the often-asked question of when one of them will get married.

Relationship with God: And woven throughout the book, the girls talk about their most important relationship of all their relationship with God and their own personal faith and beliefs.

This candid look into what Jana, Jill, Jessa, and Jinger believe and why they believe it will give you practical insights into your own life and will inspire you to evaluate principles that will work for you. - CURTSY

Some quotes from the book:

“Here’s the bottom line: The relationship a girl has with her dad often influences how she will relate to boys. Girls want to believe their dads love them and will protect them. When they don’t feel that, they often go searching for those things from guys. This can lead to unwise decisions, which in turn bring a host of consequences and painful memories.”

“Express Gratefulness AS A FAMILY, WE resolve to weed out daily those attitudes of ungratefulness that sneak in and bring with them an air of discontent. For instance, around our house we are not allowed to say, “I’m bored.” It is an expression of ungratefulness with a person’s surroundings and a complaining attitude with the idea that one must be constantly doing something fun or entertaining in order to be happy.”

What I thought:

I personally loved this book, it was more than what I expected it to be and such a big blessing. I learned some things that I can apply to my life and many more. I recommend this book to girls beginning in their teens, and anyone who would like to read it.
