Hello friends! guess what? I'm going to be doing a series on each of the Ten Commandments. :)

Don't you just love how I got to the point? ;)
Anyways, I will be expanding on that so that we can all understand a little bit more of God's commands to us. And how we can rejoice in following them. Yay I'm  actually so excited.

Repeat after me:

Say firmly: “I will not spend precious moments in reading that which will be of no profit to me, and which only unfits me to be of service to others. I will devote my time and my thoughts to acquiring a fitness for God’s service. I will close my eyes to frivolous and sinful things. My ears are the Lord’s, and I will not listen to the subtle reasoning of the enemy. My voice shall not in any way be subject to a will that is not under the influence of the Spirit of God. My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and every power of my being shall be consecrated to worthy pursuits.” [8] – {AH 409.1}

My daily routine

Hello friends!
I've always enjoyed reading other people's daily routines and seeing if I can learn or take something from them, besides they are fun. So I decided, why not make my own? Maybe this could be a blessing to you all. 

This is a Bible verse that helped me keep up with this routine. 

Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice. -Psalm 55:17

As of late I have been keeping up with my health and maintaining the temple. And that has brought an immense change in my life. So here goes my daily routine. Precisely

4:50 am: I wake around this time so I can have 10 minutes of getting used to my surroundings. 

5:00 am: I listen to hymnal songs to prepare for my bible study. 

5:20 am: I do my Bible study. I read two chapters from the new testament and two chapters from proverbs or psalms for inspiration. 

6:00 am : I read a bit of my devotional book. Any book from spirit of prophecy will do. 

6:15 am : I make my breakfast. ( I will do easy breakfast ideas soon). 

After I'm finished eating I dress and then come back to my room at 7:15 am to read the ten commandments. (I've finally memorized them!!) thank God. 

Then I pray and go to school by 7:40 am. 

I come home by 4:10 pm and just do my evening routine of homework and working out. 

Then at around 8:45 pm, I take my shower and come back to do my devotional at around 9:15. I go to sleep at 9:45 pm or 10:00 pm. 


So that's my honest routine for the day. Well the week days when I have to wake up early. But I would usually do the same routine on the weekend except I wake up at around no later than 8:00 am. 

It's really important to be organized as Christians. Because we serve a God of order. One that has order in everything he does. So to be closer to Him and be like Him. In a way we have to have order in our life. And having a routine is a good start. Remember this quote: 

Rising early and sleeping early is not only good for our health but it also helps us get a lot done in the day. And starting that early day with Christ makes the day bearable. No matter what hardships you endure through that day. 

I just want to stress to you all, how having a good scheudle and routine can really change your lifestyles inward and outward. 

Now I will leave you all with this quote: 

And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed. - Mark 1:35

He's our greatest example, follow Him.

Living Simple (Be content)

Living simple. Is there anything you have in this world that you totally cannot let go of. It's as if you can't imagine living without that thing. And I'm not talking about family and such, those are people. I mean material things. Can you function without anything but yourself and your faith? Is it hard to let go of the things of this world? If it is, then you are in deep trouble. For you need to prayerfully ask God to help you not "love" the things of this world. 

Simplicity is beautiful in it's own way. And it also teaches us many good lessons. It teaches to be content with the little that we have. But as Jesus says: 

"And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God."-Matthew 19:24


Why? 

Because they can't give up their material things. They cling to them like it's their last resort. The sad truth is that those things don't last! How foolish of them to act that way! 

But don't worry the bible has a lot to speak on simplicity: 



Matthew 5:3 - Blessed [are] the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

 Romans 8:5-6 -For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.

Proverbs 13:7- There is that maketh himself rich, yet hath nothing: there is that maketh himself poor, yet hath great riches.

I'm not saying anything is wrong with being rich but I am saying that we need to be careful not to fall in love with the things of this world. The things God intended for us not to love. One can be rich and help the poor. To me that's the only richness I would agree with. But our greatest work is to save souls. Thats what we should be really doing. Doing the same thing Jesus did when he was on earth. Preaching the gospel, teaching and healing. The greatest work anyone can do.

I am Happy

 

I am happy because I have the privilege to know YAH (God) in my lifetime. It's a blessing to know someone as wonderful and perfectly great as He. All praise surely goes to Him in abundance. And as we near the times of trouble, I will continue to take a stand for Him.

Revealing her dignity!

A gentle reminder that the way we dress matters

While we are to guard against needles adornment and display, we are in no case to be careless and indifferent in regard to outward appearance. 

 As Christian girls and women we should dress ourselves in neat and modest apparel. One that gives off a gentle and kind vibe. The way we dress reveals how we carry ourselves as women. And we should also dress to please our Heavenly Father.
